William Britain co-founded EnergyNet, Inc. in 1999 and serves as President and CEO. Mr. Britain was elected Chairman of EnergyNet's Board of Directors in August 2007.
He has more than 30 years of experience in a number of areas of the oil and gas business including E&P, A&D, drilling, large lease plays and EOR.
EnergyNet has been the broker for the purchase and sale of over 44,000 oil and gas properties working on behalf of 4,200 sellers and 18,000 bidders across the United States. EnergyNet is the most active oil and gas property marketplace serving the industry, as well as state and federal government clients. The first ever, real-time, online oil and gas property auction was conducted by EnergyNet in February 2000.
In 1987, Mr. Britain co-founded J-Brex Company, which remains an active oil and gas explorer, operator and producer in the Mid-Continent. He served as Vice-President and Land Manager from 1987 to 1999.

Mr. Britain, an Amarillo, Texas native, graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1972 and served 5 years in the United States Army Infantry.
Chris Atherton is the President of EnergyNet.com, Inc. and serves as team lead to EnergyNet's business development representatives.
Chris has been part of the EnergyNet team since 2002 and has been actively involved as the firm has completed over $1.25B in transactions. Chris has originated and successfully closed divestment mandates with over one thousand unique clients. Chris graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Prior to EnergyNet, Chris worked at the Enron Corporation in the Power and Gas Origination Group. He served as the Chairman for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section Business Development Study Group for three years. He is also an active member of the IPAA, Houston Producer's Forum, ADAM Houston and ADAM-Permian.

Mr. Black holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Black joined the team after spending 25 years in accounting with 20 of those as controller/CFO in the agricultural industry. He has been a cattle rancher in the Texas Panhandle for over 25 years. Mr. Black also has 20 years experience as a contract business consultant and tax advisor. Mr. Black owned a rural weekly newspaper for over 4 years and was acting Operator, Publisher and Reporter and has interviewed numerous Senators, Congressman, Governors and former Presidents.
Mr. Black holds a FINRA Series 63, 22, 27, 39 and 99 licenses.
John is instrumental in EnergyNet's Corporate Strategic Planning. John also works with the EnergyNet Business Development Team providing A&D and Engineering support, with a focus on developing the internet data rooms for the high value Negotiated Sale properties. He also manages Federal and State online lease auctions and sealed bid sales.
John has had a successful 35 year career with Chevron. This included over 10 years in Acquisition and Divestment for onshore and offshore properties, business planning on the headquarters staff for Chevron North America and for Chevron Technology Company, facilitated and instructed teams on the application of project management techniques, held positions as a reservoir, and production engineer supervisor, and operations superintendent. These positions required John to work in west Texas, northern and southern California, Louisiana, and Houston, Texas, with travel to Indonesia, Calgary, London and Aberdeen.
John graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Michael graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 with a B.S. in Agribusiness. He joined the Energynet team in 2004 as a Business Development Manager. He currently manages the Permian Basin, North Texas & East TX and North LA areas. Michael is a current member of the Dallas ADAM Group, DAPL, and the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers. Michael enjoys Golf, Hunting, and Fishing.

Ethan joined EnergyNet in November of 2002 after graduating from West Texas A & M with a B. S. in Mass Communications/Marketing and Advertising. Ethan is the Vice President of Business Development for the Mid-Continent and Texas Panhandle and also develops and implements marketing programs for EnergyNet and individual client marketing campaigns. Ethan works closely with EnergyNet clients to answer listing questions, review asset divestment packages, marketing strategy as well as general client inquiries. Ethan currently serves on the Advisory Committee of the ADAM-OKC (Acquisition, Divestment & Mergers) chapter and is a member of the following organizations: IPAA, AAPL, PAPL, OCAPL, CIPA, Oklahoma Independent Producers Association (Committee Member), National Stripper Well Association, Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (Past Board Member) Texas Alliance of Energy Producers (Past Board Member), IPANM, Wildcatters Club, Mid-Continent Oilmen's Invitational (Board Member), Oklahoma Energy Explorers, National Auctioneers Association and the Texas Auctioneers Association. Ethan also volunteers as a guide with the Oklahoma Youth Hunting and Shooting Program and is a Board Member of the Wes Welker Foundation.

John Klee joined the EnergyNet Business Development team in 2015. John graduated from the University of New Mexico and has more than 30 years of land and managerial experience. He was Rocky Mountain/Mid-Continent Land Manager for Hondo Oil & Gas in Roswell, NM.
John is a member of the American Association of Petroleum Landmen, Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, served as President of the New Mexico Landmans Association, former board member of IPAMS (now Western Energy Alliance), has served on the membership committee of the California Independent Petroleum Association (CIPA).
John holds a Series 63 & 22 licenses
Ryan joined the EnergyNet team in 2012 and currently serves as the Business Development Manager for the Western United States. After graduating from the University of Kansas with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Economics in 2002, Ryan worked for ChevronTexaco in Midland, Texas. In 2004, Ryan assumed the role of Staff Landman for the Bass Family in Fort Worth, Texas where he was responsible for various land activities in the Rockies, Permian, Barnett, and Gulf Coast regions. Ryan joined Cinco Resources, Inc. in 2007 where he served as Senior Landman and then Land Manager - Gulf Coast and Rockies.
Ryan is a member of Western Energy Alliance, California Independent Petroleum Association, Denver Association of Petroleum Landmen, IPAA, and American Association of Professional Landmen.

Cody graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2004 and went on to pursue a Master's Degree in Business Administration from American Military University. He manages the Gulf Coast Region as well as the Eastern States. Prior to joining EnergyNet, Cody worked for O'Brien's Response Management as a Project Manager in the regulatory consulting division. Cody was also a member of the United States Coast Guard where he served in Washington D.C. in the Presidential Honor Guard, and in Houston Texas as a regulatory agent. Cody is a current member of the IPAA and LOGA.

Lindsay Ballard currently resides in Midland, Texas, and manages the Permian Basin territory for EnergyNet.
Lindsay graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a bachelor's degree in biochemistry, as well as spent two years studying chemical engineering.
Lindsay is an active member of The Petroleum Club of Midland, Young Professionals in Energy - Midland, Women in Energy Network - Permian Basin, Permian Basin Landman's Association, Permian Basin Petroleum Association, and SIPES Midland. Lindsay serves as a board member of the Ladies of the Petroleum Club of Midland organization.
In her free time, you can find Lindsay at the local YMCA, participating in a class, or grabbing lunch at Strawberry Fields.

Janet graduated from West Texas State University in 1985 with a B.B.A. in General Business. Janet joined EnergyNet as the Property and Data Services Manager in 1999. Her responsibilities include: the management of data by property/lot, buyers and sellers, overseeing the input of data from clients, Business Development Staff including the scanning of data, presentation of data and scheduling of property sales. Janet brings with her 14 years of land experience including title reviews, preparation of title reports, purchasing and acquisition of oil and gas leases and minerals, and title curative. She worked with Orion Oil & Gas Properties as a Contract Petroleum Landman from 1986-1999. Janet is a member of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen (PAPL). Janet is a Notary Public.
Gus Rivero came to the U.S. at the age of 19 from Argentina in 2001, one year after graduating from Escuela de Educacion Tecnica 5 as a Electronic Technician (Computer Technician). Like many others, he came searching for a brighter future which began to materialize when, in 2005, he founded DotCom, Inc. - a company through which he offered IT consulting services. In 2006 he began to do contract work for EnergyNet, and a year later he was offered, and accepted, a full time position.
Gus began his EnergyNet career in the IT Department, but exhibited such a passion for land that he was trained to work in the Land Department. In 2010, Gus jumped at the opportunity to attend PHDWin (petroleum economic evaluation software) courses in Houston, Texas. On October 13, 2010 he received his PHDWin Certification.
On December 2, 2010, Gus achieved his most important personal milestone: After 10 years and a long journey, he became a proud American citizen.
In January 2012, Gus was given the opportunity to expand his horizons when EnergyNet sponsored his attendance to the Dale Carnegie Training Course (a leadership, public speaking and human relations seminar). After 12 weeks, Gus graduated and received the Highest Achievement Award; the most prestigious award in the program, given to the person who best exemplified the standards, qualities and principles on which the Dale Carnegie program is based.
At EnergyNet, his current duties include reviewing land, engineering and geological data to create property presentations and Internet data rooms for auction, sealed bid and negotiated sales. His responsibilities also include creating and managing the preparation of maps to enhance property presentations and preparing PHDWin database files, among others.
Gus is a member of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen (PAPL).
He has been happily married to Yvette since April, 2005.

Cathy assists with the research and preparation necessary to accurately present sellers' information on the EnergyNet web site. Cathy came to EnergyNet in July, 2003, having previously worked for Diamond Shamrock Corporation, Mesa Ltd. Partnership and Seagull Midcon Inc.
Jill began working for EnergyNet in August 2004. Her duties consist of preparing documents for scanning, pulling production, and entering well data. She also organizes, researches and verifies information provided by sellers in order to present data on the website. Jill also handles Assignments, BLM Assignments and State Assignments to convey record title.
Jill was born and raised in Amarillo. She worked at Mesa Petroleum Co. for six years. She has been married since 1982 and has two children.
Jill's hobbies include spending time with her family, working in her home and yard, recreational sports and Bible study.
Stacey joined EnergyNet in 2006, bringing 20 years of experience in customer service, as well as experience in county recording. Initially, she performed receptionist duties and assisted in the handling of conveyance documents. Stacey is now part of the Land Department, functioning as the Administrative Assistant, and is responsible for scanning all Due Diligence documentation for the website and providing Post Sale Notification services when requested, along with other miscellaneous tasks. Stacey has lived in the Texas Panhandle for most of her life.
Krysta is a Walsh, Colorado native who came to the Texas Panhandle in 2008 to finish her degree at West Texas A&M University. She graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of General Studies Degree with emphasis is Psychology, Sociology and History and began working for the college. In August of 2013, Krysta joined the Land Department team at EnergyNet. Since then, her ability to quickly learn all Land Department related tasks, combined with her discipline and remarkable work ethics, has helped her become a valuable team member.
Her current duties include reviewing land, production and financial data to create property presentations and Internet data rooms.
Krysta enjoys watching football and basketball, cooking and fishing. She lives in Amarillo, Texas with her husband Trent and their dogs Lilly and Marshall.
In 2014, Krysta participated and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course, where she was also recognized with the Outstanding Human Relations award.

Josh, an Amarillo, Texas native, started working at T.D.C.J. Clements Unit upon graduating high school. He left the Prison system to join the United States Army. He served 7 years on active duty in various ADA Defense Units. He made two tours to South Korea before leaving the U.S. Army as a Sergeant. After finishing his commitment to the military he started attending college part-time.
Josh joined the EnergyNet team in October of 2015 as a GIS/Land Tech. His responsibilities include preparing maps, calculating cash flows and preparing lots for auction.
Josh enjoys the outdoor as well as watching and playing all sports. He lives in Amarillo, Texas with his dog Opie.
Justin, a native of Amarillo, Texas, graduated with a Bachelor's degree in psychology from the University of Notre Dame. During his time at Notre Dame, he achieved 3rd place in pole vault at the Indoor Big East Conference Championship, a prestigious track competition. He brings to the team six years of business management experience. Justin joined EnergyNet in late 2015 as a member of the Land Department. His responsibilities include preparing properties for auction by researching production and compiling financial information. He is thrilled to be a member of the EnergyNet team and the oil and gas industry.
In his spare time, you can either find him at his cabin in Eagle Nest, NM or behind the drums in a local jazz/bluegrass band.
Elizabeth joined EnergyNet in September of 2015 after graduating from West Texas A&M University with a B.B.A. in Management and Finance. During her time at A&M, she received the Enactus Service Leadership Award in recognition of 100 hours of volunteer work. She is currently pursuing a Master's Degree in Business Administration from West Texas A&M University. Elizabeth's responsibilities include analyzing oil and gas properties and prepare online presentations. She is very excited to be part of the EnergyNet team and the oil and gas industry.
Elizabeth was born in Veracruz and raised in Texas. She enjoys spending time with her friends and family.
Jason, an Oklahoma Panhandle native, graduated from Oklahoma State University in 1997 with a B.S. in Agricultural Economics and Natural Resources. Jason spent a combined 12 years in seismic data brokerage, marketing, and acquisition. This experience lends him unique geological and geophysical insight into the multitude of basins, fields, and oil and gas plays spanning the United States and Canada. Before joining EnergyNet, Jason worked as a contract petroleum land man preparing title reports, title curative, surface negotiation, and onsite liaison for rig and drilling preparations. Jason resides in Amarillo with his wife Meredith.
Wildon joined EnergyNet as Controller in May 2010, bringing with him experience in accounting, finance, and statistics. Wildon has a varied work background, with time spent in law enforcement, academics, and the horseracing industry. After earning a B.S. in Economics from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Wildon spent a year at the University of New Mexico Economics PhD program. He returned to WTAMU to complete the hours required for the Master of Science in Finance and Economics and the accounting hours to sit for the CPA Exam.

Lisa joined EnergyNet in September 2002 and brought with her, 18 years of diverse accounting experience. She is responsible for handling all conveyance documents and general accounting. Lisa has worked in many fields as an accountant including the U.S. Army, the agriculture industry, many accounting and law firms and for general contractors. Lisa's oil and gas experience began with her father working for Mobil Pipeline. After living all over the United States and abroad, Lisa moved back to Texas in 1998.
Lisa Weiss is a graduate of Texas Tech University. She received her B.B.A. in Business Management in 2002. Lisa joined Energynet in 2004 and has enjoyed learning about the oil and gas industry. Lisa brings with her 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Brandon Savage was born and raised in Amarillo, TX. After graduating High School, he joined the United States Army and served three years as an Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and four years in the Texas National Guard. He made several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan before leaving the military as a Non-Commissioned Officer. After returning from his last deployment, Brandon began attending school, graduating with honors in 2014 with a B.A.S. in Business from Wayland Baptist University.
Brandon joined the EnergyNet team in 2013 as a Land Tech and after showing a significant interest, began to work exclusively on Government Lease Sales. His current duties include processing parcel/tract data, creating GIS files, closing auctions and working with the states to collect and distribute funds.
Brandon is a member of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen (PAPL).
Kelsey grew up in a farming and ranching family outside of the small West Texas town of Friona and later moved to Lubbock to become a Texas Tech Red Raider. She is an avid fan of all Texas Tech sports, snow skiing and going to the lake.
Kelsey joined the Conveyance Department at EnergyNet in March, 2013 after serving 4 years as the Regional Administrator for Aflac. She brings 10+ years of experience in office management and administration to the EnergyNet team, as well as a broad background in customer service.
Kelsey currently assists with conveyancing, handles all office administrative duties and is a licensed Notary Public. She enjoys interacting with her coworkers and clients and is thankful for the opportunity to learn more about the ever-changing Oil and Gas Industry.
Whitney began working for EnergyNet in December of 2008. Her duties include building and maintaining the customer database, as well as marketing and advertising campaigns. Coming to work for EnergyNet had furthered her work force experience as well as her knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry. Whitney was born and raised on a farm here in the Texas panhandle and Graduated from West Texas A&M University in December 2007, with a B. S. degree in Agriculture Business and Economics. She lives in Amarillo, TX with her husband, and daughter.
Whitney enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, spending time outdoors, and crafting.
Lauren joined EnergyNet, in April 2010. Lauren graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas in 2009 and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 2007. Lauren's responsibilities include coordination and support of the EnergyNet Regional Business Development Managers, individual property marketing, travel and trade show coordination, event planning, database maintenance, marketplace research, help desk support and user training. Lauren is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Lauren is a proud supporter of her husband who serves in the United States Coast Guard.
Rylee joined the EnergyNet team in July 2015. She graduated from West Texas A&M in December 2014 with a bachelor degree in Agricultural Media and Communications. She moved to Canyon, TX from Seminole, TX in 2011 to attend college. Since then she has fallen in love with the panhandle and now lives in Amarillo, TX. Her duties include maintaining the customer data base, preparing Key Note presentations, assisting with trade show preparations and marketing notification e-mails.
Rylee enjoys spending time with her family and friends, shooting, and motorcycle trips.
John, an Amarillo, TX native, began working for EnergyNet shortly after the company's inception in 1999 as a technical consultant and joined the company full-time later that year as IT Director.
John brings to EnergyNet 15 years of systems architecture, software engineering, systems administration and network management experience. His involvement in past business ventures has given him experience in a wide variety of fields as diverse as manufacturing, graphic design, broadcasting, publishing, wireless networking, audio engineering, and embedded systems design.
John has been instrumental in EnergyNet's software, architectural, and technical policy developments through the years and enjoys the challenge of keeping EnergyNet at the forefront of a rapidly changing industry.
Mitch brings a wealth of software knowledge and a propensity for innovation to EnergyNet. As part of the tightly-knit IT group, Mitch works as a full-stack developer on the EnergyNet.com website and implements other software crucial to EnergyNet's performance and growth.
Mitch graduated from Harding University with a degree in Computer Engineering. Prior to joining the EnergyNet team, Mitch worked for Elbit Systems of America, developing embedded military applications for avionics platforms such as the F-18, AH-64, and the V-22.
Outside of work, Mitch stays busy enjoying life with his wife and four boys. He enjoys coaching his boys at sports, playing soccer, and spending time with his family.
Jason joined EnergyNet in August of 2010, bringing with him a background in IT and programming. His first task was to develop tools and automated processes to assist the Land Department while also working with the team to prepare properties for auction.
Jason moved to the IT Department in December 2013, where he will continue to develop internal software and help manage the EnergyNet website.
Jason graduated from Wayland Baptist University in 2004 with a B.B.A specializing in information systems and DeVry in 2011 with his Master's of Information Systems Management. Previously Jason worked for five years as the Database Administrator for Central Plains Center.
