Chief Executive Officer and President
Chris Atherton is the Chief Executive Officer and President of EnergyNet, LLC, a technology-enabled upstream oil and gas asset acquisition and divestiture platform specializing in auction sales, sealed bid transactions, and government lease sales. He offices in downtown Houston, Texas.
Chris has been part of the EnergyNet team since 2002. He has been actively involved as the firm has completed $9B+ in transactions including sell-side mandates from thousands of Exploration and Production clients. Chris leads a multi-disciplinary team of 50 professionals specializing in engineering, geology, land, technical, business development, marketing, IT, and administration. Chris has 20 years of experience in the energy industry. He graduated from Texas State in San Marcos with a business management and marketing degree. Prior to EnergyNet, Chris worked at the Enron Corporation in Houston, Texas.
He recently served as the Chairman of the Wildcatter's Host Committee for the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers and served as the Chairman for the SPE-Gulf Coast Section Business Development Study Group for three years. Chris is also an active member of the IPAA, Texas Energy Alliance, ADAM Houston, ADAM Permian, and Houston Producer's Forum.

John Laur
Chief Technology Officer
John, an Amarillo, TX native, joined EnergyNet shortly after the company's founding in 1999 and has served in technology leadership positions within the company since that time. Today he oversees EnergyNet's technology planning, development, implementation, and security.
His previous experience at EnergyNet has included direct roles in systems architecture, software engineering, systems operations and network management. External to EnergyNet, he has been involved in a number of diverse fields including manufacturing, graphic design, broadcasting, publishing, wireless networking, audio engineering, and embedded systems design.
John has been instrumental in EnergyNet's software, architectural, and technical policy developments through the years and enjoys the challenge of keeping EnergyNet at the forefront of an evolving industry.
Wildon Woolley
Chief Operating Officer
Wildon, EnergyNet's Chief Operating Officer, joined the team in May 2010, bringing with him experience in accounting, finance, and statistics. Wildon has a varied work background, with time spent in law enforcement, academics, and the horseracing industry. After earning a B.S. in Economics from West Texas A&M University in Canyon, Wildon spent a year at the University of New Mexico Economics PhD program. He returned to WTAMU to complete the hours required for the Master of Science in Finance and Economics and the accounting hours to sit for the CPA Exam.

Russell Artho
Chief Financial Officer
Russell, a Texas Panhandle native, graduated from Texas Tech University in 2011 with a Masters in Accounting and obtained his CPA License in 2012. He joined the EnergyNet team in 2018 as Controller. In March 2021, Russell took on the new role as Chief Financial Officer.
Prior to joining EnergyNet he worked in the public accounting sector as a financial statement auditor and in the agriculture industry as controller for a cattle feeding operation.
Outside of work, Russell enjoys spending time with family and friends, watching sports and golfing.

Gus Rivero
Chief Ventures Officer
Gus Rivero, our Chief Ventures Officer, leads the Government Resources group and EN Lands & Realty. He assists governments, institutions, businesses, and individuals to divest, lease or fund renewable energy projects, oil and gas, real estate, and other commodities via the EnergyNet online platform.
He began working for EnergyNet in 2007 as part of the Technical Services department. In 2011, he joined the Government Resources group, and has been leading it since 2018.
Under his leadership, the Government Resources group sold over $3 billion across 30+ commodities for 25 government offices.
Gus is an Argentina native who came to the United States at the age of 19 in 2001. On December 2, 2010, Gus achieved his most important personal milestone: after 10 years and a long journey, he became a proud American citizen.
Gus holds PHDWin Certification and is a member of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen (PAPL).
Ethan D. House
Managing Director
Region: Mid-Continent, TX Panhandle, Northern Louisiana & Western U.S.
Ethan joined EnergyNet in 2002. Ethan is the Managing Director for the Mid-Continent, Texas Panhandle, Northern Louisiana, and Western U.S. regions. He offices in downtown Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
He graduated from West Texas A&M with a Bachelor of Science in Mass Communications/Marketing and Advertising. Ethan works closely with EnergyNet clients to answer listing questions, review asset divestment packages and marketing strategy as well as general client inquiries.
Ethan currently serves on the Board of the Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, Advisory Committee of the ADAM-OKC (Acquisition, Divestment & Mergers) chapter and is a member of the following organizations: AAPL, PAPL, OCAPL, CIPA, Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association (Past Board Member), Texas Alliance of Energy Producers (Past Board Member), IPANM, Wildcatters Club, Mid-Continent Oilmen's Invitational (Current Board Member), Oklahoma Energy Explorers, National Auctioneers Association and the Texas Auctioneers Association. Ethan also volunteers as a guide with the Oklahoma Youth Hunting and Shooting Program and is a Board Member of the Oklahoma Wildlife Conservation Foundation.

He graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2004 with a Criminal Justice Degree. He also holds a Master of Business Administration degree from American Military University. Prior to joining EnergyNet, he worked for O'Brien's Response Management as a Project Manager in the regulatory consulting division.

Emily graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 2008 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in Energy Management. She began her career as a Landman specializing in Mid-Continent asset development for Devon Energy Corporation. After five successful years in Land, Emily transitioned to Devon's Acquisitions and Divestitures group where she spent another five years. During her tenure in A&D, Emily was involved with multiple transactions, covering assets in several basins - the value of which exceeded fourteen billion dollars.
Emily is an active member of Oklahoma Energy Explorers, The Petroleum Alliance of Oklahoma, ADAM-OKC, Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen, and American Association of Professional Landmen.
In her free time, Emily enjoys spending time with her husband JP and two daughters, Mayson and Meritt. She serves as a board member for the Wes Welker Foundation, which influences at-risk youth, through athletics and positive role models. On Sundays, Emily can be found volunteering with kids at her church. In 2021, she began volunteering with Ground Zero Canines, a non-profit which trains search and rescue dogs to assist in natural and man-made disasters.

Zachary graduated from the Frank G. Zarb School of Business at Hofstra University in 2006 with a BA in Finance and Business Management. For the past twelve years, he has worked with startups and global software companies in a number of sales and business development roles.
In 2021 Zachary was selected for HartEnergy's Oil & Investor Forty under 40 list, an honor for the oil and gas industry's rising leaders.
In his free time, he can be found spending time with family and friends, traveling, cheering for Boston sports, trying new foods, and volunteering for community organizations.

Jewell joined the EnergyNet team in 2022 and currently serves as the Buyer Relations / Transactions Manager in EnergyNet's business development department. She offices in Downtown Houston, Texas.
Jewell graduated from Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources Development and is currently pursuing her Master of Business Administration at the University of Houston. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. Jewell began her career in Human Resources for FMC Technologies. After two years in HR, Jewell joined the business development team for TechnipFMC Subsea division and was involved in numerous multi-million-dollar contracts. Her success followed her at FlexSteel Pipeline Technologies, where she led the International Proposal team, participated in high level transactions, and was recognized as a top performing employee.
She is passionate about providing value and trust to each of EnergyNet's clients.
Jewell is a native Texan from the Rio Grande Valley. She enjoys spending time with her husband, Giovanni and her goldendoodle Roo, and can be found traveling, visiting new restaurants and volunteering at her local church.
Krystin Gilbert

Krystin joined the EnergyNet team in August 2022 and currently serves as a Buyer Relations / Transaction Manager in EnergyNet's business development department. She offices in Downtown Dallas, Texas
Originally from Tyler, Texas, Krystin studied Business Administration at the University of Texas at Tyler. Krystin received her PLM from the University of Houston-Downtown. She is an AAPL Registered Landman, a member of DAPL, and previously served as the Steering Committee Coordinator for ADAM Dallas. She brings with her over 10 years of experience in the Oil and Gas industry.
In her free time, Krystin enjoys spending time with her dog, Bentley, and her husband, Josh. They enjoy traveling and attending sporting events and concerts. Krystin and her husband are advocates for The Magdalen House, a non-profit organization serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
Jessica Scott

Jessica joined the EnergyNet team in February 2023 and currently serves as the Buyer Relations / Transactions Manager in EnergyNet's business development department. She offices in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Jessica graduated from Oklahoma Christian University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing. Jessica brings with her 14 years of experience as a Senior Land Tech in the Oil and Gas Industry. She enjoys creating relationships with EnergyNet buyers to target their specific property interests.
In her free time, Jessica enjoys spending time with her family and friends, early morning gym bootcamps, volunteering at FaithKids at her local church and showing kindness to all people.
Krysta Turner
VP of Technical Services / Engineering
Krysta is a Walsh, Colorado native who came to the Texas Panhandle in July 2008 to finish her degree at West Texas A&M University. She graduated in December 2010 with a Bachelor of General Studies with emphasis on Psychology, Sociology and History, and began working for WTAMU in their Educational Services department.
In August 2013, Krysta joined the Land group at EnergyNet. Since then, her ability to quickly learn Engineering support tasks, GIS mapping and all Land related tasks, combined with her dedication to the EnergyNet Land Team, discipline and her remarkable work ethic, has helped her become a valuable team member. In 2018, Krysta restructured the Land & Technical Services department, which has since greatly improved efficiency, timeliness, and accuracy in property presentations and data rooms.
Krysta received her PHDWin Certification in November 2017, after completing the training course in Houston, Texas and passing the certification exam.
In December 2014, Krysta participated and graduated from the Dale Carnegie course, (a leadership, public speaking and human relations seminar), where she was also recognized with the Outstanding Human Relations award. In October 2018, she completed the Dale Carnegie Leadership Training for Managers, where she received an Outstanding Performance Award.
Tammy Jordan

Tammy is a native of Perryton, Texas. She joined the EnergyNet Land Team in May of 2016 as a Land Tech, bringing with her 11 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry.
Tammy is honored to be a part of the EnerygNet team. Her determination and tenacity, as well as her leadership skills, has made her a valuable team member. Tammy's duties include managing the Standard Auction Team members; assisting in managing the Lot Queue process; answering Seller and Buyer questions; acting as the Land & Technical Services Hiring Manager and reviewing Auction property presentations and data rooms for activation.
In her free time, Tammy is an active member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and enjoys genealogy research and spending time with her two dogs, La La and Tonka.
Cathy Sifuentez

Cathy came to EnergyNet in July 2003, having previously worked for Diamond Shamrock Corporation, Mesa Ltd. Partnership and Seagull Midcon Inc. Because of her sharp eye for detail, and the high care and attention that she gives each individual property, Cathy acts as the final review for Sealed Bid and Auction property presentations and data rooms. Her additional duties include confirming Seller title, including State and Federal Title; verifying preferential rights, property consents and depth restriction information and making live lot Seller updates.
Keith Ries

Keith joined EnergyNet in 2019 and heads up the EnergyNet Indigo Technical Development team. His team works in conjunction with the business development and Transaction management teams focusing on evaluations, proposals, data room and executive summary presentations for EnergyNet's higher valued Indigo assets. Keith offices in downtown Houston, Texas.
Keith has a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. Prior to joining EnergyNet, Keith served in multiple capacities ranging from reservoir, operations, and production engineering along with corporate reserves, strategy, and business development. Keith has worked for Linn Energy, Aurora Oil & Gas, Pressler Petroleum Consultants, and ConocoPhillips. His experience spans the Lower 48 on both conventional and unconventional assets.

Prior to joining EnergyNet, Jonathan worked in Energy Investment Banking on the A&D Groups of BMO Capital Markets, PJ Solomon, and Barclays. He has $13B+ in publicly closed transaction value in conventional and unconventional upstream A&D, corporate M&A, midstream, and minerals and ORRI. His experience spans Lower 48 and Alaska on both conventional and unconventional assets.
Reilly Bliton

Reilly joined the EnergyNet team in 2022 and works with the business development and technical teams focusing on asset evaluations and transaction management for EnergyNet's high value Indigo assets. Reilly offices in downtown Houston, Texas.
Reilly began his career at as a Petroleum Engineer with ExxonMobil where he held several Reservoir Engineering and Strategic Planning positions. Reilly joined Evercore's Energy Group in 2011 as an Investment Banker in the firm's oil and gas Acquisitions and Divestitures practice. While at Evercore, Reilly advised clients on more than $25 Billion of oil and gas transactions including asset purchases and sales, strategic joint ventures, corporate mergers, fundraising and restructuring. Reilly has an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering from NC State University where he graduated summa cum laude and a MBA from Rice University. Reilly is a licensed Professional Engineer in the state of Texas.

Clint Barnette

Clint joined the EnergyNet team in 2023 and works with the Business Development and Technical teams focusing on asset evaluations, proposals, presentations, and transaction management for EnergyNet's higher valued Indigo assets. Clint offices in downtown Houston, Texas.
Clint began his career as a Geologist at Marathon Oil Corporation where he held positions in the Eagle Ford Development and Operations Geology teams. Clint joined Tri-C Resources in 2017 as a Geologist with responsibilities covering geological operations, asset development, and A&D evaluation. His experience covers the lower 48 for both unconventional assets and conventional assets. Clint has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology from Texas A&M University and a Master of Science degree in Geology from the University of Houston.

Ankita Sinha
Petroleum Engineer / Petrophysicist

Ankita joined EnergyNet in 2018. She works with the business development and technical teams creating asset evaluations, proposals, data room and executive summary presentations.
She received her Master of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from University of Oklahoma and was awarded the Investment Foundations certificate by CFA Institute. Prior to joining EnergyNet, she began her career at Halliburton in the Drilling & Completions/Well Services division as a Cementing Engineer.
Ankita is an active member of the Society of Petroleum Engineers and Toastmasters. She served as the Firm Speakers Toastmasters Secretary from 2018-2020. She was also the Area Director for Division O in District 56 for Toastmasters from 2021-2021. Ankita also served as the Secretary for the SPE GCS Young Professionals from 2020-2021 and as the Communications Chair for SPE GCS Young Professionals from 2021-2022.
Stacey Nance
Senior Seller Relations Coordinator
Stacey has been with the EnergyNet team since 2006 and has 37 years of experience in customer service, has processed conveyances and managed the virtual data rooms. She has a certificate of accomplishment in the Skills for Success Course from Dale Carnegie.
Because of Stacey's amazing work ethics, drive, and dedication to her team she has excelled greatly in Land & Technical Services, and now as Senior Seller Relations Coordinator, she processes all incoming Seller's Agreements and answers questions for the Buyers and Sellers.
Stacey has lived in the Texas Panhandle for most of her life.
Sean Thomas
Senior Financial and Engineering Analyst II
Sean joined the EnergyNet team in November 2016 as a Land/Data Analyst, after graduating from Texas Tech University with a bachelor's degree in Accounting. At Tech, he received various scholarly awards, including graduating Cum Laude.
As the Lead Engineering/Data Analyst for the Sealed Bid Team, Sean manages, prepares and reviews the property presentations for Sealed Bid properties. He also processes Seller PHDWin or ARIES files for production data and creates shell PHDWin files with well production data only, from Seller provided ARIES files, DrillingInfo or IHS.
In the Spring of 2018, Sean participated and graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course.
Sean is a native of Amarillo, Texas, where he currently lives with his wife and daughter. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family and watching sports - he is an avid Dallas Stars Hockey fan.
Susan Johnson
Senior Account Manager
Susan Johnson is an Amarillo, Texas native. She graduated in 2018 with her Associates in General Studies from Amarillo College. She joined the EnergyNet Team in May of 2018 as an VDR/Land Assistant. Her duties include data, production and cash flow analysis as well as creating online property presentations and data rooms. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends. Susan and her husband live in Amarillo with their chorkie, Scout.
Ryan Blakely
Senior GIS / Financial Analyst
Ryan Blakely is originally from Springville, New York. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army and served for five years. He left the military in 2013 to return home and attended Hilbert College in Hamburg, New York from 2014 to 2017. He graduated with honors receiving a bachelor's degree in Legal Research.
He moved to Amarillo in 2017 and joined the EnergyNet Team in May of 2018 as a Junior Land & Data Analyst. His responsibilities include creating GIS maps, analyzing data, constructing cash flow tables, production analysis, and creating property presentations for auction.
Bobby Garza
GIS Analyst II
Bobby is originally from Corpus Christi, Texas and joined the EnergyNet team in March 2019 as a Junior GIS Analyst. His responsibilities include analyzing GIS data and creating GIS maps; analyzing and preparing AFE sealed bid property presentations; training new team members on building auction property presentations and property maps; reviewing auction property presentations and data rooms for activation; constructing cash flow tables, production analysis, calculating mineral and leasehold properties, and preparing auction property presentations based on congressional descriptions and legal documentation.
He attended Texas Tech University after graduating high school and enlisted in the Army National Guard, serving six years. He graduated with his Bachelor of Arts in Geography with a concentration in GIS from Texas Tech University.
Brittney Green
Financial Analyst II
Brittney Green is a native of Amarillo, Texas. She received an A.A.S. from Amarillo College with focus in Legal Studies. Throughout her time at Amarillo College, she worked for a locally owned plumbing and HVAC company as an Office Manager and went on to become the Assistant Finance Manager focusing on revenue reports and payroll. She joined the EnergyNet Team in June of 2018 as an VDR and Land Assistant. Her duties include helping to maintain the Virtual Data Room, data, production and cash flow analysis, and creating online property presentations. Away from work, Brittney enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, binge watching numerous series on Netflix, and raising her two daughters, Braylee and Jaelynn.
Charisa Bryant
Lead VDR Coordinator
Charisa joined EnergyNet in November 2018, bringing with her 22 years of experience in customer service, as well as 2 years of experience in data entry. She has strong organizational skills and loves to do paperwork. Her duties include processing digital and physical files into the VDR, quality control of the VDR, teaching new land team members how to create data rooms, processing cancelled lots, and other administrative tasks.
Charisa has been married for 27 years to her husband Justin and they have 4 children and 3 grandchildren. She loves to vacation with friends and family as often as possible.
Shelby Davis

Shelby Davis joined the EnergyNet team in 2022 as our Virtual Data Tech, bringing in her 10 years of customer service experience. Her duties include downloading and processing client documents. Shelby graduated from WTAMU with a bachelors degree in Accounting and Finance.
Neil McCutcheon

Neil McCutcheon joined the EnergyNet Technical Services team in February of 2023 as a Junior Analyst. With a family background in the Oil and Gas Industry he his excited find his own path in the industry.
He moved to Amarillo with a Bachelor's degree from Utah State University in Business Administration in 2017. Neil enjoys all sports, particularly football, baseball, and golf. He is an avid golfer and can often be found on the weekends at the golf course with friends and family.
His responsibilities include creating property maps, analyzing data, constructing cash flow tables, production analysis, and creating property presentations for auction.
Theresa Olivas
Junior Analyst
Theresa Olivas joined the EnergyNet Technical Services team in 2023. She's an Amarillo Native with a Bachelor's degree from West Texas A&M University in Business Administration.
Theresa's job duties include analyzing seller data, constructing cash flow tables, analyzing production, and creating property presentations for auctions.
Anastasia Brooking
Vice President of Strategic Development
Anastasia Brooking is our Vice President of Strategic Development and also serves as Vice President of EN Lands & Realty. She works with governments, institutions, businesses, and individuals assisting them with the divestiture, leasing or funding of their renewable energy projects, oil and gas, real estate, and other commodities via the EnergyNet online platform.
She joined the EnergyNet team in 2018 as an analyst for the Government Resources department. Her market and regulatory research work greatly contributed to the development of new service offerings, enabling EnergyNet to become the broker of choice for over 30 commodity types including real estate. In October 2022, after four years of impactful contribution to EnergyNet's growth, she was promoted to her current position of Vice President of Strategic Development.
She graduated from WTAMU with a B.B.A. in 2016 with a major in finance and a minor in management. She also completed her M.S. in finance and economics in 2017 at WTAMU. While completing her M.S. degree, she was inducted into Beta Gamma Sigma - The International Business Honors Society.
Heather Fugger
Executive Director, Government Resources
Heather Fugger brings to EnergyNet 20+ years of C-Suite administrative experience, highlighted with a focus on contracting administration. She holds a certification from the National Association of Legal Assistants for Contract Administration, and attended the University of Maine. Heather joined EnergyNet in July of 2017.
Tate Smith
Program Manager
Tate joined EnergyNet as a Program Manager on the Government Resources team in 2023. He has over 10 years of experience in land administration and project management.
Prior to EnergyNet Tate served as the Conservation Director at the Wyoming Stock Growers Land Trust where he permanently conserved 18,000 acres of Wyoming ranchland and sourced over $30 million in federal, state, and private grant funding. He also worked for the Wyoming Office of State Lands and Investments as the Mineral Leasing Supervisor. In that role, Tate and his team managed the 3.9 million acres of state trust mineral resources and a portfolio of over 3,000 active oil and gas leases. Tate graduated from the University of Wyoming in 2012 with a Bachelor's of Science in Rangeland Ecology and Watershed Management.
Brandon Savage
Closing Services Director
Brandon Savage was born and raised in Amarillo, TX. After graduating high school, he joined the United States Army and served three years as an Infantryman in the 82nd Airborne Division and four years in the Texas National Guard. He made several deployments to Iraq and Afghanistan before leaving the military as a Non-Commissioned Officer. After returning from his last deployment, Brandon attended Wayland Baptist University, graduating with honors in 2014 with a B.A.S. in Business.
Brandon joined the EnergyNet team in 2013 as a land tech and after showing a significant interest, began to work exclusively on government offerings. His current duties include processing parcel/tract data, creating GIS files, closing auctions and working with the states to collect and distribute funds.
In 2015, Brandon graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course, where he was recognized with the Outstanding Performance award.
Brandon is a member of the Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen and a licensed Texas Auctioneer - TX Auctioneer #17931.
Bailey Kelly
Marketing Analyst
Bailey joined the Government Resources team at EnergyNet in 2019. His duties consist of email marketing, digital campaign management, commodity specific research, and loading government auctions.
Prior to EnergyNet, Bailey attended West Texas A&M University where he graduated with a bachelors degree in General Business.
Haili Hutchins
Junior Research Analyst
Haili Hutchins joined the EnergyNet team in 2023 and currently serves as a Junior Research Analyst for the Government Team assisting with legislature and client research. Originally from Tennessee, Haili graduated from George Mason University with a Bachelor of Arts in Government & International Politics and a concentration in Comparative Politics.
Lisa Weiss
Bookkeeper / Auction Closing Manager
Lisa Weiss is a graduate of Texas Tech University. She received her B.B.A. in Business Management in 2002. Lisa joined Energynet in 2004 and has enjoyed learning about the oil and gas industry. Lisa brings with her 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant.
Robin Lancaster
Conveyancing Manager
Robin is an Amarillo, Texas native. She joined the EnergyNet Team in June of 2019 as our Office Administrator.
She recently took on a new role at EnergyNet as the Conveyancing Manager. She is responsible for handling and recording all incoming and outgoing conveyance instruments and regulatory documents. Robin will continue to utilize her many years of customer service experience, excellent communication and organizational skills in this role.
Erin Carter
Accounting & Conveyancing Assistant
Erin brings over five years of customer service experience with her to EnergyNet. She has strong organizational skills and can easily multi-task, both qualities she used while working as the Office Manager for her husband's plumbing business. She is also familiar with oil and gas documents from working with various law firms.
Her duties include processing new conveyance documents, ensuring that each document meets requirements of the county and calculating recording fees. She also assists in the handling of numerous other administrative tasks.
Erin was born and raised in Amarillo. She has two girls that keep her busy with soccer and ballet. When they are not running from one practice to another, she loves vacationing with her family and friends in the mountains and at the beach.
Sarena Poor
Marketing Manager
Sarena is the Marketing Manager for EnergyNet. Sarena joined EnergyNet in 2018 as the customer relations representative; she took on the role of Marketing Manager in 2020. In this role, Sarena leads her team in the development, implementation, and execution of strategic marketing plans for EnergyNet.
Prior to EnergyNet, Sarena spent 15+ years in multi-media marketing and advertising. In 2019, Sarena graduated from the Dale Carnegie Course, where she was recognized with the Breakthrough Award. She's lived in the Texas panhandle for most of her life.
Jocelyn Phillips
Content Strategist
An Amarillo, Texas native, Jocelyn joined the EnergyNet team in October of 2019. She has a bachelor's degree in Agribusiness from West Texas A&M University and a master's degree in English and Creative Writing from Southern New Hampshire University.
Jocelyn has over 15 years of graphic design and marketing experience as both an in-house graphic designer and a freelancer. Her duties include creating marketing content for the company for both digital and print use as well as proofreading and editing marketing copy.
Jocelyn is also a published author of three novels and a member of the Women's Fiction Writers Association, the Southwest Writers Association, and the Freelancers Union. In her free time, she not only writes but is also an artist and leads an art-based small group at her church.
Joshua M. Routin
Software Engineering Manager
Joshua joined EnergyNet in 2021 to help lead the development team in the design, implementation, and maintenance of all supported software.
He brings a wide range of expertise to the team including 15+ years as a technical analyst, 9+ years as a senior data analyst, and 2+ years as a lead application developer.
Born and raised in San Antonio, he currently lives in Fort Mill, SC with his wife and son.
Anthony Thornton
Senior Software Developer
Anthony became part of the EnergyNet Technology team in 2019. He has over two years of software development experience. Anthony holds a bachelor's degree in computer science with a minor in mathematics from West Texas A&M University.
In his spare time, Anthony is an avid gamer and also enjoys rock climbing.
Eric Watkins
Senior Software Engineer
Eric joined EnergyNet in 2023 as a software engineer. He is a native of Chattanooga, TN. Eric studied electrical engineering at Tennessee Tech University and Computer Science at the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. In addition, he brings 20+ years of software architecture and development experience.
Eric gained mining and materials experience while leading a development team at Oldcastle Materials. He has home loan and business banking experience with LendingTree and Bank of America. Eric held key roles at Microsoft, helping Fortune 500 companies troubleshoot critical operating systems issues and delivering distributed computing training to development engineers.
When not geeking out on technology, Eric enjoys cooking, gaming, driving to the beach or the mountains, anything aviation-related, and spending time with his family in Charlotte, NC.
Mark Gardner
Senior Software Engineer
Mark Gardner joined EnergyNet in early 2023 as a Senior Software Engineer working on the company's asset transaction platform. A seasoned developer whose roots go back to the beloved Commodore home computers of his youth, he holds a bachelor's degree in computer science from Independence University and has worked in a variety of industries ranging from pharmaceuticals to cybersecurity to financial technology.
He has enjoyed living and working in Houston, Texas since the mid-2010s despite having yet to find a proper Philadelphia cheesesteak. In his spare time, Mark takes dance lessons, writes about the Perl programming language on his blog and social media, and attends pop-culture fandom conventions in cosplay outfits made by his multitalented wife Sharon.
Axl McCracken
Software Developer
Axl joined the EnergyNet team in 2019, bringing along both front-end and back-end experience to assist the Technology team in driving the website forward. After teaching himself the basics of programming, he continued studying and eventually earned his Associates Degree at Amarillo College in 2017. He began working as a web developer in the same year to expand his skill set.
His main goals are to continue to improve his skills and depth of knowledge in programming and related fields of study. Outside of work, Axl is a hobbyist cook, a travel enthusiast, and is interested in learning more about astrophotography.
Brandon Denney
Director of IT
Brandon is an Amarillo, TX native. He graduated from West Texas A&M University in 2004 with a degree in Computer Science. He joined EnergyNet in 2021 bringing with him 25+ years of computer hardware experience, and 15+ years of IT management experience.
One of Brandon's favorite things to do is travel with his wife Ginger and their friends. Brandon is a certified SCUBA diver, with dives all over the world, including the Great Barrier Reef. Also, in his spare time Brandon enjoys the Marching Arts, computer gaming, and enjoying time with his family at the lake.
