TERMS AND CONDITIONS
The royalty on the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) tract is fixed at 25% of the gross production of oil and/or gas. The primary term of the lease shall be one (1) year. Subject to the right to reject any bid, the TPWD Board for Lease will lease the advertised tract to the highest bidder meeting or exceeding the minimum bid.
  • Surface Use Restriction: Entry onto the property and use of the surface for the operations performed under the oil and gas lease shall be subject to the TPWD Surface Use Agreement.
  • Continuous Drilling Clause: After expiration of the primary term, there will be a continuous drilling requirement of no more than seventy-five (75) days between the cessation of drilling one well and the commencement of the next well. If lessee drills wells with fewer days than seventy-five days between wells, they can “bank” days up to 365 days.

Bonus bids in excess of $1,000,000 are computed at a fixed rate of 1.00%.
