When will I receive the invoice for the parcels I won?

Within an hour after the last tract closes, an email will be sent by EnergyNet to the bidder containing the invoice for the amount due per tract to the South Dakota School and Public Lands. Invoices are also available on the Buyer's Homepage. Please call EnergyNet at 866-364-4688 if an email is not received within one (1) hour following the sale.

When is the invoice due?

Submit the payment due for the annual delay rental, bonus and EnergyNet buyer premium directly to the South Dakota School and Public Lands within 7 (seven) days. One check or cashier's check for all funds due is acceptable.

What are the payment options?

Remittance to the South Dakota School and Public Lands may be made by check or cashier's check. Full remittance instructions appear on the invoice.

What if the payer is different than the bidder?

If the payer differs from the bidder, simply reference the tract information with the payment.

What if the bidder name is different from the entity that will hold the lease?

If the lessee's name will be different from the bidder's name, please designate the appropriate Lessee Name on the State of South Dakota Bidder Sheet that will be sent in a separate email. This form must be returned to EnergyNet within 2 business days.
