William W. Britain
President & CEO
Bill Britain - PRESIDENT/CEO
Mr. Britain graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering from the United States Military Academy at West Point in 1972. During his five-year Army service, he was recipient of the Meritorious Service Medal and numerous other military decorations. He resigned his commission as Captain of the Infantry in 1977 to pursue private sector business interests.
Upon leaving the service, he was employed by two Amarillo Family Estates as Special Projects Manager. His areas of responsibility included screening oil and gas drilling prospects; evaluation of producing properties; supervision of land work in the purchase of large blocks of oil, gas, CO2 leases, minerals and royalty; establishment and management of several real estate developments; and, various other projects involving oil and gas, real estate, ranching and cattle interests.
Mr. Britain is a member of Independent Producers Association of America, Texas Independent Producers and Royalty Owners, Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owners Association, Oklahoma Independent Petroleum Association, California Independent Petroleum Association, American Association of Petroleum Landmen and the Illinois Oil and Gas Association.
In 1987, Mr. Britain co-founded J-Brex Company, which remains an active oil and gas exploration, operator and producer in the Mid-Continent. He served as Vice-President and Land Manager from 1987 to 1999. His responsibilities included representing J-Brex Company in oil and gas acquisitions and divestitures, through auctions, negotiated sales and sealed bid transactions. He managed the land work for the drilling of numerous wells.
Mr. Britain co-founded EnergyNet, Inc. in 1999 and has since served as President and CEO. Mr. Britain was elected Chairman of EnergyNet's Board of Directors in August 2007.
Mr. Britain was selected by Desk and Derrick as Boss of the Year in 2005.
Mr. Britain holds FINRA Series 63, 22 and 39 licenses and is a licensed Texas auctioneer.
Mr. Britain is an active Oil & Gas, Real Estate and Technology Investor.
Jim D. Black - CFO/COO
Mr. Black holds a BBA in Accounting from Texas Tech University, Lubbock, Texas. Mr. Black joined the team after spending 25 years in accounting with 20 of those as controller/CFO in the agricultural industry. He has been a cattle rancher in the Texas Panhandle for over 25 years. Mr. Black also has 20 years experience as a contract business consultant and tax advisor. Mr. Black owned a rural weekly newspaper for over 4 years and was acting Operator, Publisher and Reporter and has interviewed numerous Senators, Congressman, Governors and former Presidents.
Mr. Black holds a FINRA Series 63, 22, 27 and 39 licenses.
Land Department
Janet K. Cubitt - Vice President - Land
Janet graduated from West Texas State University in 1985 with a B.B.A. in General Business. Janet joined EnergyNet as the Property and Data Services Manager in 1999. Her responsibilities include: the management of data by property/lot, buyers and sellers, overseeing the input of data from clients, Business Development Staff including the scanning of data, presentation of data and scheduling of property sales. Janet brings with her 14 years of land experience including title reviews, preparation of title reports, purchasing and acquisition of oil and gas leases and minerals, and title curative. She worked with Orion Oil & Gas Properties as a Contract Petroleum Landman from 1986-1999. Janet is a member of Panhandle Association of Petroleum Landmen (PAPL). Janet is a Notary Public.
Cathy Sifuentez - Assistant Land Manager
Cathy assists with the research and preparation necessary to accurately present sellers' information on the EnergyNet web site. Cathy came to EnergyNet in July, 2003, having previously worked for Diamond Shamrock Corporation, Mesa Ltd. Partnership and Seagull Midcon Inc.
Jill Fetzer - Land Tech
Jill began working for EnergyNet in August 2004. Her duties consist of preparing documents for scanning, pulling production, entering well data, as well as organizing, researching and verifying information by sellers to present data on the website. She also handles Assignments, BLM Assignments and State Assignments to convey record title. Jill was born and raised in Amarillo and graduated from Amarillo College receiving a Certificate of Completion. She worked at Mesa Petroleum Company for six years starting out as Receptionist before being promoted to Division Order Analyst. When her first child was born, she chose to stay home and raise her family. Now that her children are attending college, she has rejoined the work force in order to further their education. She has been married for 27 years and has two children. Coming to work for EnergyNet has been a great experience and she really enjoys her work and the staff here at EnergyNet.
Jill's hobbies include spending time with her family, working in her home and yard, recreational sports and Bible study.
Gus Rivero - Land Tech
Gus Rivero moved to the US from Argentina in 2001 after graduating from Escuela de Educacion Tecnica 5 as an Electronic Technician. Gus began working for EnergyNet in September, 2007. His computer expertise and desire to grow combined with the training received from EnergyNet, helped him become a valuable team member. His duties include: assist coworkers with computer related issues, prepare documents for scanning, handling digital files for online data rooms, acquiring production reports, research and verification of Sellers data, create graphics for the marketing of premier properties, adapt new technologies to the line of work, create custom online data rooms for negotiated sales, among others. He is extremely proud to live in the US and considers himself an American.

Stacey Nance - Scanning/Data Package Manager
Stacey joined EnergyNet in 2006 and bringing 20 years of experience in customer service, as well as experience in county recording. Initially, she performed receptionist duties and assisted in the handling of conveyance documents. Stacey is now part of the Land Department, functioning as the Administrative Assistant, and is responsible for scanning all Due Diligence documentation for the website, Data Package preparation and providing Post Sale Notification services when requested, along with other miscellaneous tasks. Stacey has lived in the Texas Panhandle for most of her life. She is currently a member of the Association of Desk and Derrick Club of Amarillo.
Accounting & Conveyance Department
Lisa Cox - Accounting & Conveyance Manager
Lisa joined EnergyNet in September 2002 and brought with her, 18 years of diverse accounting experience. She is responsible for handling all conveyance documents and general accounting. Lisa has worked in many fields as an accountant including the U.S. Army, the agriculture industry, many accounting and law firms and for general contractors. Lisa's oil and gas experience began with her father working for Mobil Pipeline. After living all over the United States and abroad, Lisa moved back to Texas in 1998. Lisa is a member of the Association of Desk and Derrick Club of Amarillo.
Lisa Weiss - Bookkeeper/Auction Closing Manager
Lisa Weiss is a graduate of Texas Tech University. She received her B.B.A. in Business Management in 2002. Lisa joined Energynet in 2004 and has enjoyed learning about the oil and gas industry. Lisa brings with her 6 years of experience as an Administrative Assistant. Lisa is a member of the Association of Desk and Derrick Club of Amarillo.

Ethan D. House - Director of Marketing
Ethan joined EnergyNet in November of 2002 after graduating from West Texas A & M with a B. S. in Mass Communications/Marketing and Advertising. Ethan is the Business Development Manager for the Texas Panhandle Region and also develops and implements marketing programs for EnergyNet and individual client marketing campaigns. Ethan works closely with EnergyNet clients to answer listing questions as well as general client inquiries. As the corporate services representative Ethan plans and executes client receptions, company retreats, meetings and hunts. Ethan currently serves on the Executive Committee of the Panhandle Producers and Royalty Owner Associciation and is a member of the following organizations: AAPL, PAPL, OCAPL, CIPA, OIPA, Texas Alliance of Energy Producers, IPANM, National Auctioneers Association and the Texas Auctioneers Association.

Whitney McEvers - Marketing Assistant
Whitney began working for EnergyNet in December of 2008. Her duties include building and maintaining the customer database, as well as marketing and advertising campaigns. Coming to work for EnergyNet had furthered her work force experience as well as her knowledge of the Oil and Gas Industry. Whitney was born and raised on a farm here in the Texas panhandle and Graduated from West Texas A&M University in December 2007, with a B. S. degree in Agriculture Business and Economics. She lives in Canyon, TX with her husband. Whitney is a member of the Association of Desk and Derrick Club of Amarillo.
Whitney enjoys making jewelry, cooking, spending time outdoors, and spending time with her family.
Darlene Marrs - Database Manager
Darlene Marrs works part-time for EnergyNet as a Data Specialist. Her responsibilities include the building and maintaining of the database as well as notifying operators of upcoming auctions. Prior to working with EnergyNet, Darlene retired with 24 years experience in Land and Lease where she was a Certified Lease & Title Analyst for Maxus Exploration Co.

IT Department
Frank L. Hereford - IT Director
Frank Hereford grew up in the central Virginia town of Charlottesville, where he got his start in IT at the University of Virginia's technology department. There he was first introduced to the excellent, open source programming language named Perl. From the University, Frank took a job working in the music industry writing websites for various bands while employed at Musictoday.com. During the fall of 2000, Frank moved to Amarillo, TX to pursue opportunities in West Texas, where he has enjoyed living since. Frank has had a part in many of the technological developments at EnergyNet including the development of the website as well as the internal document handling systems, fax systems and administration of the local network. Frank is always interested in working on engaging problems and looks forward to the challenges that the auction and oil and gas industry always promise to provide.
Frank also is an avid collector of movies, music and artwork.
John Laur - IT Director
John, an Amarillo, TX native, attended high school in Virginia at Woodberry Forest School. He returned to Amarillo in 1998 to attend Amarillo College. John began working for EnergyNet shortly after the company's inception in 1999 as a technical consultant and joined the company full-time later that year as IT Director. He has participated in nearly every aspect of software development at the company since that time, particularly including the continued deployment of Linux throughout the company's systems and the development of EnergyNet's data package system. Serving on a technical staff of only three people in a fast-growing company affords a constant stream of new challenges in order to ensure EnergyNet's software and hardware systems operate smoothly for customers and staff even as the systems themselves grow and change.
John brings to EnergyNet 7 years of software engineering, system administration and network management experience. He has owned or partnered in many business ventures prior, gaining experience in fields as diverse as textile manufacturing, graphic design, radio broadcasting, technical writing, long-range wireless networking, audio engineering, web publishing and embedded systems design.
Rowdy Riemer - Programmer/Data Import
Rowdy Riemer joined EnergyNet in August of 2002. He brings 10 years of Information Technology experience to the team. Rowdy started his career as a Unix Systems Administrator in the United States Marine Corps. He was in charge of administrating several Unix systems running mission critical database applications. After being honorably released from active duty, Rowdy worked as an applications programmer for ComSquared Systems, Inc., a document imaging software vendor in Atlanta, GA. Rowdy's responsibilities at EnergyNet include development of EnergyNet's document imaging system, developing other internal applications, assisting with website development, and importing customer data and documents.

Kevin L. McDonald - Web Development / Project and Documentation Manager
Kevin McDonald worked for EnergyNet briefly in 1999, then returned as quickly as he could. He served as Network Administrator for Amarillo Diagnostic Clinic, LLC. for over five years, then as IT Director for United Medicorp, Inc., in Pampa, Texas. He owned and operated his own computer and network support business, Definition Computers, until returning to EnergyNet in August of 2008. He brings over fifteen years of network administration, system support and user training to the team.
Kevin earned an Associate's degree in English from Amarillo College and enjoys writing. He has published creative writing in Amarillo Style magazine, and authored a weekly computer advice column, "Ask the Geek," for the Amarillo Independent newspaper. He has written one novel, unpublished, which he feels is probably best to leave in a drawer at home.
Kevin serves EnergyNet as a web developer, project manager and documentation manager. He is responsible for creating much of the documentation required for EnergyNet projects, such as the Bureau of Land Management's Oil and Gas Lease Internet Auction Pilot (OGLIAP), as well as internal policy documents, user manuals and documentation.
Business Development
Chris Atherton - Business Development - Gulf Coast
Chris joined the EnergyNet team in 2002 as a Business Development Manager. He currently manages the Gulf Coast Basin and serves clients in Houston, Corpus Christi, Austin, San Antonio, Lafayette and New Orleans. Chris graduated from Texas State University in San Marcos in 1999 with a Bachelors degree in Business Administration. Prior to EnergyNet, Chris worked at the Enron Corporation as an origination account manager. He currently serves as the Chairman for the Society of Petroleum Engineers Gulf Coast Section Business Development Study Group. He is also an active member of the IPAA, Houston Producer's Forum, and Texas Energy Alliance.
Chris holds FINRA Series 63 & 22 licenses.
Michael Baker - Business Development - Ark-La-Tex
Michael graduated from Texas A&M University in 1998 with a B.S. in Agribusiness. He joined the Energynet team in 2004 as a Business Development Manager. He currently manages the Permian Basin, North Texas & East TX and North LA areas. Michael is a current member of the Dallas ADAM Group, DAPL, and the Texas Alliance of Energy Producers. Michael enjoys Golf, Hunting, and Fishing.

Hunter Burdick - Business Development - Rockies/West Coast
Mr. Burdick began his career in the Oil & Gas Industry as a East Texas Landman right out of high school, typing leases and checking records. Shortly thereafter, Mr. Burdick earned a PLM Degree from the Rawls School of Business at Texas Tech University. Since that time he has worked for Petro Land Group, Lone-Tree Energy & Associates, and Petroleum Development Corporation, as a field and in house Landman, primarily focused on Colorado's DJ Basin and North Dakota's Bakken Play. Mr. Burdick joined EnergyNet in 2007 and has enjoyed expanding his knowledge throughout the Rockies and West Coast serving as Business Development Manager for clients in those regions. Mr. Burdick represents EnergyNet as a member of the California Independent Petroleum Association, Denver Association Of Petroleum Landmen, Independent Petroleum Association Of Mountain States, Independent Petroleum Association Of New Mexico, and Denver's Energy Finance Discussion Group. Outside of work he enjoys spending time in the mountains with his wife and two young children.

Lauren Felton - Land/Business Development Coordinator
Lauren joined EnergyNet, as the newest member of the team in April 2010. Lauren graduated with a Master of Science Degree in Industrial-Organizational Psychology from Angelo State University in San Angelo, Texas in 2009 and earned her Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology from Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, Oklahoma in 2007. Lauren, will be working directly with sellers, assisting them with the gathering and assimilation of on-site due diligence. Lauren's responsibilities also include coordination and support of the EnergyNet Regional Business Development Offices, database maintenance, marketplace research, help desk support and user training. Lauren is a member of the Society for Industrial and Organizational Psychology.
Lauren is a proud supporter of her husband who serves in the United States Coast Guard.
John Mandich - Business Development - MI & IL Basins/ Ontario, Canada
John Mandich has had a successful 30-year career in Business Development and Finance including; Energy Lending, Brokerage of Investment Real Estate and Industrial Real Estate, Troubled Loan Workouts, Mortgage Finance and Property Tax Appeal Services. Mr. Mandich has held executive positions with: Michigan Property Tax Consultants, Marcus & Millchap, Colliers International, Michigan National Bank, InterFirst Bank and Wachovia Bank. Mr. Mandich holds a Bachelor of Business Administration with a Major in finance and accounting from the University of Michigan.

Darrell Noblitt - Business Development - Mid-Continent/Appalachia
Darrell Noblitt is an Alumnus of the Oklahoma University PLM program. He began his career in the Oil Industry checking records and buying leases in 1979. He has worked for small and medium sized independents in various capacities in Land, Acquisitions, and Negotiations, concentrating in the Deep Anadarko Basin of Oklahoma, central Illinois and all of Texas. He has been qualified and has testified as an expert witness before the Corporation Commission of Oklahoma. Outside the industry he has served as a City Councilman, Vice-Mayor, Chairman of Economic Development Authority and Representative to ACOG for his hometown of Mustang, OK. He has also served and chaired various civic committees. Mr. Noblitt joined EnergyNet in January of 2003. He now represents EnergyNet as the Business Development Manager for the Mid-Continent and Appalachian regions. Mr. Noblitt is a member of the Executive Board as well as a Committee Chair for the Oklahoma City Association of Petroleum Landmen. He also is a member of the TAPL, Illinois Oil & Gas Association, the OIPA and IPAA.
Mr. Noblitt holds FINRA Series 63 and 22 licenses.
